The truth frees us from confusion

I was tasked to lead the group last night for a very short notice that I did not know what to talk about. Then suddenly I am reminded of the previous days I have been crying over nothing.

To all of you who are reading this topic: Is there something you are confused about? Is there something that bothers you these past few days? What did you do about it?

Ok here is my answer: Yes, I was deeply bothered by the truth that my ex boyfriend is completely over me, I cried and prayed to God to embrace me with His love alone.

There are 3 points I want to share with you

1. GOD IS NOT THE AUTHOR OF OUR CONFUSION.

James 1:5 says “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”

God is never the other of our confusion but he is the author of our wisdom.

2. GOD IS THE SHEPHERD OF OUR SOULS.

Proverbs 3:5-6 says “Trust in the Lord with all your heart
    and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.”

It is a 100 percent guarantee that God will lead us because we are His sheep.

3. GOD WILL REPLACE UNCERTAINTY WITH WISDOM

Isaiah 30:21 says “
Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”

God will shine the light of truth on the situations in our lives and set us free to make good choices.

God’s promises are really amazing. He said that when we feel confused, come to Him and He will settle our minds until we can hear Him clearly again. We just have to trust in Him, Take refuge in Him, Obey His words.

My prayer: Lord thank you for leading me into the green pastures of peace and confidence. I will only lean on You Father God. Thank you Lord that you are going to remove all these confusions and transform them into wisdom. Amen.

  1. Hi
Some really great points you mentioned. And thanks for that timely reminder! There have been things I have brought to God which I am confused about and that is why your post really brought clarity especially the last point – God will replace uncertainty with wisdom!
